What is Fascia?
Fascia is a network of connective tissue that encloses everything in the whole body, from muscles and bones, to organs and cells. Almost all communication in the body goes via the fascia. Our fascia is affected by medication, diet, stress, sleep, air pollution, age and genetics. Balanced diet also affects the elasticity of the fascia. The key is to eat lots of berries, fruits and vegetables that contain antioxidants.
In 2017 the fascia was recognized as the body’s largest organ and most of our pain would be find here. If the fascia is getting damaged or inflamed, we find it difficult to move and would then feel pain or discomfort.
